I am leaving this morning.

I will be gone until Saturday with no way to access a computer (that I know of)!

I promise I will keep on taking pictures and will share when I get home!

Oh...don't worry I am heading out with my husband to celebrate our anniversary, just he and I!!

Okay, I admit it I am taking a break today!

It's my anniversary!

Yup I got married 20 years ago!

Half of my life with this fellow!

I thought I would go ahead and link up to my Wedding Day story like I did last year.
It is a 5 part story of my debacle of a wedding day.

Adventure Day

These are the two girls who went on a Photography Adventure Day with me today.

It was the first of its kind, but I am betting not the last.


It was a road trip!

We were all three armed with our cameras and a wishful heart to capture something lovely today!

Ohhhhh HO!
My husband presented this to me tonight in front of all of our children.
It is the first time the whole family has been together in 2 full weeks and one of our kids is leaving again tomorrow and won't be home until after our anniversary soooooo....

There he was down on one knee, me with my eyes closed, our children all ooooohhhing and aaaaahhhhhing and being giddy in the waiting.

It is a cluster of Tanzanite, which is a rare gem found mainly in the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro

This little fellow has eyes that are almost black, making this a fun new experience for me.




Who says you actually have to see those eye sparkles to have a great picture??
