I am still alive!
This blog has been put waaaaaaaaay on the back burner...like at a neighbors house or something!!
Don't worry, I am still snapping away and growing in my faith.
Really somehow I am even doing both of those things together and it is so wonderful to experience.
Here is a fun something for ya! Those sweet potatoes grew from a wedge that had been growing in a cup of water, that we stuck in the ground.
The vine that grew above ground was gorgeous, but we truly didn't even think about what might be shaping up underground in the soil.
There were six lovely taters!
God does really cool stuff, right?? I love it that it still catches me by surprise.
This is a place to write about what happens when the laundry is spinning. Recipes...old and new. Pond life in my back yard, stories, imaginings and wonders too great not to ponder. Or, whatever just strikes my fancy on any given day!

What I saw
Have you all but given up on me?
Well just know I am still learning and growing and because of that process I don't have time to be here.
No, I haven't taken a photo everyday, but have been solidly working on learning the program called Lightroom which was ON SALE for half price 2 weeks ago!! It has rocked my editing world in a good and complicated way.
So much to take in.
I am pretty sure that I didn't tell you that my family took a drive to Iowa for the week of Thanksgiving. It was to be a surprise and didn't want to give it away.
I knew there was no way my husband was going to stop and let me photograph all the things that caught my eye along the way, so I didn't even ask. BUT I did shoot through the windows of the back seat of the van. Pretty much a fail all around at 70 miles per hour.
I have confidence that you can sort through the blur to see what I was seeing.
Here are a few SOOC, because I don't have time to do any thing but resize them right now.
(Remember I shot a wedding....hundreds of pictures my friends, hundreds to go through)
